The Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability qualification is aimed at colleagues who are responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to embed a culture of social conscience for the business, helping to innovate and drive ambitions for social and environmental change.
This Level 4 qualification provides the opportunity to gain the knowledge and experiences required to create and lead a corporate responsibility and sustainability agenda.
By the end of the 30-month programme, colleagues will be able to contribute or take ownership for corporate responsibility and sustainability campaigns, projects and events, making sure these are embedded by facilitating delivery.
This is a 24 month programme of learning, followed by a 6 month End Point Assessment to meet the Level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard (equivalent to a foundation degree).

You’ll need to be working in a role that will enable you to undertake and practice the skills, knowledge and behaviours required either as your current role or as step-up responsibilities.
These will include identifying and evaluating opportunities for business improvement from a social and sustainability perspective.
Ideally, you will have achieved a GCSE grade 4/C or higher in maths and/or English (or equivalent). As part of your application, you will be assessed to understand your current working level of maths and English, and will have the opportunity to complete these qualifications in alongside this qualification.

This qualification will be delivered virtually, through a combination of e-learning, webinars, online live workshops, tutorials and guided study.
You will be part of an open cohort, which means you’ll work with other employees from other organisations as well as Greencore colleagues.
At the end of the course, you will undertake an End Point Assessment (EPA). This will include a combination of assessment methods to validate your learning, including a portfolio of work-based activities, in addition to a formal assessment of your knowledge through a test, a project and structured interview or professional discussion.

Throughout the programme you will complete assignments and tasks relating to each study module.
You will also be required to complete a work-based evidence portfolio to demonstrates your competence against the skills required, and tracks your learning hours.
The End Point Assessment will include:
Knowledge study will take place virtually.
Off the job time will be taken through a combination of activities, including study blocks, online learning and practical activities in the workplace. The total off the job time required for this qualification is 487 hours.
Enrolments will take place within three months of your application being approved.
Enrolments will be assigned based on site/functional business needs and capacity on each cohort.
You’ll then be invited to attend a Spotlight Session to find out more about the qualification, and give you the opportunity to ask questions.
We’ll then confirm your application with your Line Manager, and may undertake any additional checks to ensure that your role meets the requirements of the learning objectives of the qualification.
We’ll then ask HR teams to review all applicants as a function/site, to ensure that they are supportive of the application, and have the resources and capacity to ensure success on the programme.
